Trip 2 Pondy

Well it was a Saturday morning; I usually wake up only for lunch during weekends!! But in some enthu i waked up @ 6.30 in the morning cos of pondy plans...Then I packed my belongings tat includes 2 sun glasses to take beautiful photos of me in pondy...(Well most of the times it went wrong but still I try, imagining that one day it will come good).
Finally we reached CMBT at 7.30 in the morning, there were so many buses queued up for pondy almost half seats filled up. But we waited to board the so called ultra deluxe buses to enjoy the scenic beauty of ECR without any nuisance crowd nagging behind us!!
Though we waited for 2 hours we boarded an ultra deluxe bus finally!! In the mean time few ppl who came with me had finished their breakfast!!! I was a bit scared that at least for lunch we should be there in pondy though our initial plan was to reach there by 11am and have breakfast there, unfortunately by waiting for ultra deluxe we had a quick breakfast at cmbt itself!!!

Then finally we reached pondy by 1pm and booked a room for us in corbelli hotel. Then we went in search of shops where we can a hire a bike and go to auroville.But our fate we couldn’t get one for us…But when we started from Chennai we had many imaginations like hiring a royal Enfield, Yamaha FZ Etc.. But there comes the consolation a guy approached us and said he has a bike to hire!!! At tat moment everyone’s face was so bright…but when tat guy showed the bike we were heartbroken!!!! OMG…It was a XL super bike from TVS!!!! Cha we were hurt and tired of roaming!!! So we hired a car and successfully completed the trip to auroville…then spent some quality time in ashram…

Here comes the tragedy once again, it was a dry day in pondy and our party plan was damaged to the core!!! We roamed in the streets of pondy by walk to try and get some drinks for us!!! Finally we saw AK-BAR and we were walking fast towards the shop…Thank god before reaching that shop we realized it was AKBAR fancy store and didn’t go inside!!! Then we hired an auto and were literally roaming the streets of pondy in search of drinks which I like…adding to the misery I couldn’t get one which I liked!!! So decided not to booze and watched TV and enjoyed looking at ppl who were boozing with their favorite drinks in hand…

Next day morning we all waked up early and went to ashram again and then we went to beach, there we took dozens of photos with different glasses in different pose!!! I hope at least one would be good to add it to my orkut album!!! Then we went to a liquor shop and bought some drinks which I liked especially some Denmark beers…

We enjoyed the party and decided to head back to Chennai…again we decided to board a ultra deluxe bus to Chennai. When we reached the pondy bus stand we were shocked to see the crowd which was there to board a bus to Chennai…our ultra deluxe bus dream was shaken and finally we decided to board any bus that is available!!!

Finally we tried to board a bus by climbing the stairs…my cousin went in successfully, when I was about to get in some bloody Baskar looted my purse…horrible to miss the purse which had my debit cards…only the day before my salary was credited to the account!!! So I was literally shaken that some body would take it…then we made a call to banks customer care and blocked the card…
Imagine how horrible it would be if I was alone at that moment…I didn’t have a single paisa to return home!!! Also it was Sunday so no banks would be opened to withdraw cash…either we should be careful during Saturday and Sundays or the thieves should declare holiday and enjoy the weekend...hmmm I’m telling it in agony …

Then finally we boarded a private bus to Chennai. the conductor not allowed any one to stand inside the bus, we were little bit surprised why he didn’t allowed any one to stand…also when we asked about the route which it will go,he didn’t replied and kept mum…it crossed pondy and took a left turn in marakanam…even in our wildest dream we never though there would be a route like this… it went thro some villages and now comes the crowd!!! There was no place for the air to flow…then imagine how much crowded it would be…!! Shabba the lady standing near us vomited which made us feel very uncomfortable!!! Finally it reached Chennai after 4 hours and 30 minutes… we felt so tired when we reached our home!!!

Now we are thinking whether we would go to pondy again in bus…For time being the answer is no…!! But I guess we will go again and rock pondy, but at tat time we would try to have our belongings very safely…
