6 years down the lane…


2004-don’t know what will happen if tsunami strikes…to be frank I don’t even know the word tsunami. But it strikes me...ya 12th results were announced very earlier that year...

I was shocked to see the marks pasted in the notice board...Well it was just 30 marks more than what I scored in 10th STD…!! Then imagine how horrible it would have been…this is the worst tsunami I have faced in my life…all my relatives started calling me in the curiosity to learn how much marks I have secured…the most funny part here is I have scored more marks in Tamil, English and computer science which will not help me get a seat in single window system. And more over I got 90% marks in mathematics during 10th STD and got only 90 marks out of 200 in 12th …

Dream of getting in to Anna University and so and so colleges were trashed. I don’t even know whether I will get a seat in any engineering college!!! I got super scolding from my aunty; she was astonished after hearing my individual subject marks. She would have imagined whether there will be any one to get these kind of marks also!!! But later she was the one who guided me to get a seat in good college which offered good food also.

I would never forget that in my life…at tat time so many ppl advised me, scolded me but my cousins helped me out to get out of it…I should thank them and my aunty for that help which they offered during that tough times…

But I realized one thing in life at tat time…in this world we will get few things for free…

One is advice and the other one is suggestions!!! OMG…!! I don’t know how ppl would advice others with so much of interest. Whether it’s of real concern or just to hurt them more or to make them feel you’re the worst in the world!!! Tired of hearing those advices till last year…there were few ppl in my family who asked me to join spoken English class!!! The reason they gave is ‘since I was not able to understand English, I scored less marks in 12th’!!! Sounds weird right?? Just imagine how much hurt I would have been that time!!! Even last year ie 2009 when I was jobless few ppl suggested me to go for communication classes…I don’t know why those few ppl are very much interested to peep in to my life!!! I’m not telling free advices should be banned!!! But it should come from a person who really has some concern for you like my aunt who helped me out in completing B.E...Well the sentiments end here. I will pen down the most funny and interesting happenings in my college life very soon in this page…
